At Tråd Collective, we are thrilled to offer a convenient and sustainable solution for selling your pre-loved garments. Our clothes resale service aims to promote a circular fashion economy while rewarding you for your contributions. Here's all you need to know:
How it Works:
Earning Opportunities:
For every item sold through our resale service, we provide you with two options: 40% of the ticket price deposited directly into your bank account or a generous 50% of the ticket price as store credit, which you can use for your future shopping endeavors with us.
Item Limit and Duration:
Each customer can bring in up to 10 items for resale, and we'll display them for 30 days. After this period, we have a 14-day waiting period to allow for any potential returns. Once this waiting period ends, you have 10 days to pick up any unsold items.
Focus on Quality and Longevity:
At Tråd Collective, we prioritize long-lasting garments of good quality. Consequently, we rarely accept items from fast fashion brands like Zara, H&M, and Primark, which tend to have a shorter lifespan. Instead, we seek items made from more durable natural fibres such as wool, linen, silk, and cotton.
Condition and Seasonality:
To ensure a seamless resale process, the clothes you bring in must be in good condition, washed, and free from stains and holes. Additionally, we prefer items that are in-season, as this increases their likelihood of finding new homes quickly.
Getting Started:
Pre-Review: We highly encourage you to send us pictures of the items you wish to sell before bringing them in. You can do this through WhatsApp (07456 638750) or by sending us a direct message on Instagram.
Things to Consider:
1. Seasonal Relevance: Ask yourself if the items are suitable for wearing in the next 6 weeks or so. Seasonal pieces are more likely to attract potential buyers.
2. Fast Fashion Brands: While we appreciate good quality, items from fast fashion labels may not align with our focus. However, if they are in excellent condition and made from natural fibers, we might consider them.
3. Condition Matters: Thoroughly inspect your items for stains, holes, and odors, as we prioritize items in great condition to meet our customers' expectations.
4. Timeless Style: We do appreciate vintage pieces, but we also look for items that resonate with today's fashion preferences.
